September in Paradise Valley, Montana brought smoky pink evenings and sun-yellowed grass as Courtney and Clint stood beneath the Absarokas. The wind was light and the night warm as we documented their love in quiet frames of the camera.
Early autumn in the valley carries a certain stillness. The grasses have turned gold beneath the long Montana sun, and the mountains begin to soften in the evening haze. It is a season that feels both expansive and intimate at once.
Courtney and Clint embraced that simplicity. With the Absaroka Range rising behind them and the valley stretching toward Yellowstone, their evening session unfolded naturally. There was no rush to the light, no elaborate direction — only the two of them walking through the field, laughing together, and settling easily into the moment.
These are the moments I’m always drawn to document — the quiet space where landscape and story meet. In Paradise Valley, it rarely takes much more than the mountains, the evening light, and two people simply being together.
