FAQ

Can I select a Mountain or Meadow package to cover a wedding or elopement?

There are many layers and details that go into photographing a wedding or an elopement. Due to the nature of these celebrations, and the volume of photographs taken and edited, Blue Roan offers two specific packages to accommodate both larger and smaller weddings. Should you have any questions about which package is best for your event, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Do you travel for shoots?

Absolutely. I am available to travel within two hours of Livingston without additional charge. Any location outside of that will have travel expenses (mileage and lodging.) Please inquire for more details.

Will there be a second shooter?

Most of the time it will just be me.
However, sometimes larger weddings will require a second shooter to assist in capturing as much of your day as possible. Additional charges will be applied for a second shooter should we decide it's the best use of coverage for your wedding day.

Do I have to order prints through you?

Nope! However, I am a strong advocate for making photos tangible; I come from a fine art background, and I am passionate about physical pieces of work. I adamantly believe the memories in which you invest should be presented in a means that will allow you to admire, share, and pass down for years to come.

Each online gallery is attached to a store where you can order a variety of pieces, such as metal or bamboo prints, canvas, or framed photos. The store is a streamlined process for previewing and ordering pieces quickly and directly, and at a reasonable cost to you.

How long have you been working as a photographer?

I received my BFA in Photography in 2008. Since then I have worked as a fine art photographer and portrait-style photographer. In 2017, I moved from the Midwest to Montana, taking a brief break to work as a wildland firefighter. In 2020, Blue Roan Photo began, and I have been pursuing it with all of my heart since.
